It has got the name leaning in its name because this tower is not fully straight due to soft and unstable soil. Like many other constructions of that area, this tower also leans from one side. The actual length is 60 metres but due to leaning, now, the height of the top from the ground is only 56 metres.

In 2002, the soil below the tower was changed to provide it more strength. You have to climb 251 steps to reach the top of the tower from where you can get an amazing view.
